On February 3rd, the military and veteran community will have the opportunity to attend the next installment of the Work4Warriors "First Friday Open Forum," a virtual information session hosted online with Special Guest Lance Iunker of the California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) with the CalVet LINC Program. The LINC Program is a program of Local Interagency Network Coordinators supporting veterans by connecting them to their earned benefits and services. Iunker is an Army Veteran and PTSD Research Advocate.
These sessions, held on the first Friday of every month, provide a platform for military and veteran members to ask questions and receive answers on a wide range of topics related to transitioning from a military career to a civilian one and helping post service veterans find employment that they aspire for.
The Work4Warriors Program Manager, Brian Braddock, will be live during the session, answering questions on finding employment after the military, resume building, and more. The session is open to anyone, no matter their location, and is completely free of charge. The goal of the session is to help active-duty members, veterans, and their families achieve success after the military by providing them with the information and resources they need.
To register for the session, individuals can visit https://rebrand.ly/FFOForum. The session will be held from 12 pm - 2 pm (PST) and is an opportunity for veterans and military members to take the first step towards achieving their goals after their service. The Work4Warriors program and other services provided by Us4Warriors are dedicated to helping veterans and their families make a successful transition to civilian life whether the need takes place right out of the military or years later.
So mark your calendars for February 3rd, and don't miss this opportunity to have all your questions answered by experts in the field. Sign up now to reserve your spot in the "First Friday Open Forum" and take the first step towards success after the military.
